I love the wide variety of practices across different categories that you shared with us. I got a massage the other day and couldn’t believe how much I had almost forgotten how helpful they can be, especially during one of the most stressful periods my body has ever gone through. I also think I need to fly a kite soon. Love this so much!! 💛
Thank you so much for the beautiful feedback, Mihaela! I always feel good after a massage plus it has a lot of physical benefits. I can relate when you said you almost forgot how good it is.
Thank you for showing so many easy to understand methods. I found them very helpful. Actually, maybe it's because of my age, but lately I've been feeling anxious about small things during both the day and the night, enough that it surprises even me. Sometimes it's about work, sometimes it's about the future, and sometimes it's about little things that make me wonder, "Why am I even worried about this?".... 🥲
This is such a gentle and thoughtful way to think about things. 💛 I really appreciate the reminder that it doesn’t have to be everything at once, just one small step. For me, long walks and a good audiobook have been so helpful lately.
I’m m going to the beach next week and so looking forward to zoning out and reading a book while I listen to the waves. Do I get extra credit for completing two activities at once? JK! No one is wondering why I have anxiety now 😅
A very thoughtful read. Nearly every suggestion on this list shares a common thread, they pull us out of constant mental activity and back into direct experience. Whether it's gardening, walking, reading, or simply watching the waves, they invite us to stop analyzing life for a moment and start inhabiting it again. I also appreciated your closing thought that we don't need to see the entire horizon to take the next step. This world constantly encourages us to solve everything at once, something is reassuring about being reminded that sometimes healing begins with one small act of presence.
Very nicely crafted. Nice set of practices, not only for anxiety, but for daily relax too, which we all need - body and mind - but just too oft neglect ...
Great affirming list.
Thank you for taking the time to read!
You’re welcome! Thanks for writing it and putting it together.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read, Peter!
What I love about this list is the reminder that healing doesn't always come from dramatic changes.
More often, it comes from small, intentional moments repeated over time - a walk, a conversation, a favorite book, a few quiet minutes.
Sometimes the things that help us feel grounded are much simpler than we expect.
Indeed! Thank you for this beautiful insights and for taking the time to read, Debra! 💕
